World Futures Learning Lab (LEALA) is a UNESCO Participation Program project approved in 2012-2013 with pilots in DR Congo, Cairo and Penang, and approved in 2014-2015 for pilots in Haiti, Mexico and the Philippines.

There are several peer-reviewed academic and professional journals dedicated to reporting, discussing and analysing issues of relevance to futures researchers, practitioners and students. There are also some futures-oriented magazines below. The lists are arranged alphabetically.

WFSF has published a magazine since its inception - since even before the organisation was formally constituted. The WFSF magazine has gone through several iterations, changing its name and style with the changing times over nearly five decades. We have just launched a new version of the WFSF magazine.

HUMAN FUTURES was launched on 23 December 2016 and is a fresh & contemporary, interactive, online magazine. Each issue will be loosely themed, with the first issue featuring some really exciting and innovative futures work by several of our younger WFSF members. Let us know if you want to contribute.

Futures Studies Education – Introduction https://wfsf.org/futures-studies-education-introduction/ Tue, 29 Apr 2014 03:15:44 +0000 https://wfsf.org/futures-studies-education-introduction/ There are dozens of universities around the world that teach courses in futures studies. Courses cover the spectrum from short courses & single units to Masters Degree courses and PhDs. FFRC in Turku, Finland joined with the Turku School of Economics to offer Masters and PhDs from 2013.

Educational futures at the school level includes both introducing futures concepts and methods to school children, and also speculative research about what alternative approaches to school education might better suit the 21st century than the current industrial models of school education.
